Muscle Bug Pest Control Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

Company refers to Muscle Bug Pest Control. Client refers to the person or entity booking the service. Services refers to pest inspection, treatment, prevention, and related work provided by the Company.

2. Service Agreement

By booking our services, the Client agrees to these Terms and Conditions. The Company agrees to perform services with reasonable care and skill in accordance with industry standards.

3. Quotes and Pricing

All quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Prices may vary if the scope of work changes or additional infestations are discovered. Any additional work will be discussed and approved before proceeding.

4. Access to Property

The Client must provide safe and clear access to all treatment areas, ensure pets and people are removed from treatment zones when required, and inform the Company of any known hazards. The Company is not responsible for delays caused by restricted access.

5. Preparation Requirements

The Client agrees to follow all preparation instructions provided prior to treatment. Failure to prepare adequately may reduce treatment effectiveness and may require additional visits which may incur extra charges.

6. Payment Terms

Payment is due on completion of service unless otherwise agreed. Late payments may incur administration or interest fees. The Company reserves the right to suspend future services for unpaid accounts.

7. Cancellations and Rescheduling

A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a call-out fee.

8. Warranty / Service Guarantee

Where a warranty is offered, it applies only to the specific pest treated and the Client must follow all post-treatment instructions. Warranty is void if untreated areas become infested, new infestations occur, hygiene or structural issues are not addressed, or the property is altered after treatment. Warranty does not guarantee complete eradication in severe infestations but covers retreatment where applicable.

9. Termite Treatment Warning

IMPORTANT: No termite treatment can guarantee complete or permanent protection against termite attack. Termites are a concealed and unpredictable pest. Muscle Bug Pest Control strongly recommends annual termite inspections in accordance with Australian Standards. Failure to maintain regular inspections, address moisture issues, or rectify conducive conditions may increase the risk of termite activity. Any warranty provided is limited to the terms stated on your service report and does not constitute a structural damage warranty.

10. Limitations of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for indirect or consequential losses and is not responsible for pre-existing damage. Some pests may require multiple treatments for control. Nothing in these terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

11. Health and Safety

Approved pesticides are used according to label directions. The Client must inform the Company of any allergies, pregnancy, medical conditions, or sensitive environments such as fish tanks.

12. Environmental Conditions

Treatment effectiveness may be affected by weather, sanitation levels, building structure, and neighbouring infestations. These factors are outside the Company’s control.

13. Complaints

Any concerns must be reported within 7 days of service. The Company will be given reasonable opportunity to inspect and rectify.

14. Privacy

Client information is collected only for service delivery and will not be shared except as required by law.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
